Make an Impact on Kids’ Lives Through Golf and Life Skills

If you've ever thought about helping young people while playing golf, officials at First Tee – Central Washington want you to join the team. The organization is calling on caring, motivated individuals to step into coaching roles that not only teach golf skills but also instill vital life lessons in kids and teens across the Yakima Valley.

No matter your skill level you're encouraged to volunteer.
First Tee – Central Washington operates at seven locations throughout the region, including Black Rock Creek Golf Course, Mt. Adams Golf Course, the Yakima SOZO Sports Facility, and various team play and outreach events scheduled throughout the year. Volunteer opportunities vary in time commitment, accommodating small group sessions and team play on local golf courses.

ARE THERE REQUIREMENTS?

You'll have to complete special training and pass a background check. The program’s flexible structure allows volunteers to choose roles that fit their schedules and interests.
For over 18 years, First Tee – Central Washington has been dedicated to helping kids develop character strengths and essential life skills through golf. Every lesson combines interactive games, questions, and golf exercises designed to create self-awareness, decision-making, and personal growth.
