With soo many scammers looking for victims in the Yakima valley officials at Solarity says the seminar is designed to help you understand, recognize and protect you and your family from the growing number of financial scams many targeting seniors.
The seminar is set for 1:00 pm October 24th at Yakima Harman Senior Center 101 North 65th Ave.

WATCH OUT FOR THE LATEST SCAM HITTING YAKIMA

The latest scam to hit the Yakima area searching for victims is the law enforcement scam. This time the scammers say they're from a local police agency like the Yakima Police Department. They call requesting personal or financial information while threatening legal action even arrest or fines. A post on the Yakima Police Department Office Facebook page warns of the scam.
The scam however can involve any police agency in the Yakima valley.
