Fraud. It comes in many different forms and there's a lot of it these days especially on the internet. In an effort to educate consumers the Office of the Secretary of State’s Corporations and Charities Division, in partnership with Consumer Protection Washington, is hosting a free anti-fraud fair Oct. 15 at the Yakima Valley Museum.

A news release says if you attend you'll learn about how to protect yourself from: identity theft; imposter scams, mail, investment and charity fraud; contractor scams, and more.
The Fraud Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The museum is located at 2105 Tieton Drive.
