Four Arrests In Drive By Shooting In Sunnyside

No injuries were reported but 4 people were arrested in a drive by shooting Tuesday night in Sunnyside. Police responded to a drive by shooting in the 1700 block of Cascade Way. They say the driver of the suspect vehicle, 19 year old Victor Herrera, instigated a confrontation with the juvenile victim, and fired multiple shots through the front door of the residence. No one was injured. After the shooting the suspects fled in a red Ford Mustang. A short while later Yakima Police officers responded to a theft where they took one juvenile male in custody who is being investigated as a passenger in the vehicle. The juvenile was booked into juvenile detention, but the vehicle fled the scene. Then Wednesday morning Sunnyside Police officers located the mustang. Three others were taken into custody. The investigation continues today.
