Former Astria Hospital Nurses Fear For Patients & Decry The Process

Astria Hospital in Yakima has closed its doors. Julia Barcot worked for Astria for 14 years, Mary Bernheim spent the last 42 years at the hospital caring for generations of Yakima area residents.

The suddenness of the hospital's closure took everyone by surprise and left the staff concerned about the properness of the process and worried about the future for their current patients and worried about health care in general for Yakima.

The two nurses appeared on the KIT Morning News to talk about what's next.
