Forgery Ring Operating In Sunnyside

Sunnyside Police are warning area businesses of a forgery ring that has been targeting local convenience stores and stores that operate as check cashing facilities.

A number of checks written from Garcia’s Auto Detail and Juan C. Garcia have been shown to be fraudulent. The checks have been written to either Garcia or a number of different people.

If you receive a check from this business please do not cash it and call Sunnyside Police at 509-836-6200.
