If you are looking for help with putting food on the table the Salvation Army in Grandview is holding a free drive through food box distribution on Thursday. The event will be held starting at 11:00 a.m. until supplies last at the United Family center at 106 North Elm Street in Grandview.
The Grandview Salvation Army has been helping the community for years and during this past school year they provided 65 weekend food backpacks to the three elementary schools and the high school.  When the pandemic hit they provided meal/snack bags. According to the Salvation Army since the middle of March, they've provided 11,730 snack items for 1824 kids. The service will continue through the summer months.
