Five Wishes – Sound Medical Decisions For Your Future
We have talked about the Five Wishes concept a number of times on KIT's Morning News. It is a simple document that can prove invaluable to you and your family as a living will.
Five Wishes is simply a living will that makes your wishes known to your family and the medical community about your desired end of life procedures. It’s user-friendly and straightforward to complete, and it meets the legal requirements for living wills in 42 states, including Washington and as easy as it is to understand, a little help never hurts.
North Star Lodge, Virginia Mason Memorial’s cancer care center, is standing by with that help. The Lodge will be conducting two Five Wishes workshops on Wednesday, March 11: at 10 a.m. in English and at 2 p.m. in Spanish.
The Five Wishes book is provided at no cost through generous donations to The Memorial Foundation.
