Fire In Sunnyside Burns Local Businesses

Two businesses in Sunnyside were destroyed and another heavily damaged by fire on Sunday. Fire investigators say a leaking natural gas tank could be the cause of the blaze. Officials tell our news partner KIMA Action News it started at the back of the Safari Restaurant at about 8:00 yesterday morning. Two other businesses, El Conquistador and the Blue Moon Bar also caught fire. Fire officials said it took hours to put the fire out. No one was hurt. They have not officially issued a cause to the fire. Damage is pegged at more than 5 hundred thousand dollars.
