Spring break is coming and millions will take to the air to get away. In fact, the experts say more folks than ever will be shoving suitcases into the overhead compartments.  Airlines for America, an industry association predicts a record  145 million fliers (around 2.4 million each day) will fly during the traditional spring period, which is a four percent jump from the same period in last year.

Trays and seat back up! Airlines  will add 110,000 seats each day, with bigger planes and more nonstop routes .

If you're planning ahead for a summer getaway,  pencil in Tuesday, June 6th.   CheapAir.com has identified June 6th as the cheapest date to fly all summer.

Skip July, it’s the most expensive month.  CheapAir says tickets for August and September will be about seven percent cheaper than in July.

Experts say avoid the weekends and try to  Tuesday or Wednesday. (Daily Mail)
