Four people were killed in a two vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 97 near Toppenish early Tuesday. Washington State Patrol Troopers say all lanes are open near Toppenish as the investigation continues.The road was closed earlier Tuesday.
The crash was reported at about 5:00 a.m. Tuesday near Larue Road. Troopers say a Dodge Durango collided with a semi truck in the area. Four of the six people inside the Durango were killed. The driver and another passenger were taken to local hospitals with serious injuries. The driver of the semi truck was also taken to a hospital with injuries. The investigation continues at this time.
