Somebody better warn Kim Komando because some experts are predicting 2015 will be the year of anti-tech!  The Christmas question we have for you is - How attached are you to technology and do you want more or less tech for Christmas?

We ask because a few experts predict 2015 will be the year when people stop using gadgets and social media, and instead embrace the simple life.  (I think I’m willing to take THAT bet!)

Who dares to make such a pronouncement?  The prediction comes from Hotwire.  Hotwire is a  London-based communications agency which makes the call in their sixth annual Digital Trends Report.

The report says that while there are many early adopters out there scrambling around to get their hands on the latest smartwatch or iPhone, there are a group of much cooler kids working out ways to kill tech altogether. I would have to question the “coolness” of that but I’m old school and would have no problem with a tech-less world.

Anyway, the evidence of this is new data showing that the number of weekly web visitors to social networks in the U.S., China, Japan and the U.K. has dropped about 9 percent since this time last year.  Hard stats are one thing but this discovery is what seals the deal-- back in August a team of developers launched a Kickstarter campaign for the noPhone, a fake cell phone meant to wean people off of their addiction to technology.   The anti-tech defense rests!  (Daily Mail)
