WSDOT crews will be closing westbound Interstate 82 Exit 30A (going into Selah) on Wednesday Aug. 31 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Westbound Interstate 82 traffic desiring to go to Selah will be detoured to Exit 29 and routed to Interstate 82 eastbound. Detoured traffic will then take the Exit 30 off ramp to northbound State Route 823. Flaggers will posted on State Route 823 to help direct detoured traffic into Selah.

The left lane of southbound State Route 823 between Selah and Yakima will also be closed during this period and State Route 823 traffic from Selah to Yakima will be routed to Interstate 82 eastbound. Signs, orange cones, barrels and portable variable message signs will direct drivers through the work zone. Travelers should expect some traffic delays as they travel through the work zone.
