Ex Tribal Officer Goes To Prison Found Guilty
An ex Yakima Tribal Police officer faces prison time after being convicted Tuesday of felony harassment for threatening to kill a man he found with his estranged wife. Anthony Hernandez faces a year and a half in prison when he is sentenced later this month. He could have faced a much longer prison sentence but the jury acquitted him of kidnapping and reckless endangerment charges. The incident happened in 2009 at the couples home in Toppenish.
