Drug Take Back Day Is Saturday In Yakima

Saturday is the 17th annual National Drug Take Back Day.  It's a day when you can dispose of unwanted medications a several different places in Yakima. The free event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Cornerstone Medicine, 4003 Creekside Loop and Solarity Credit Union, 105 N. Fifth Ave. in Yakima.
Disposal boxes for unwanted medications can also be found at the entrance to the Yakima Police Department at 200 South 3rd Street or the Yakima County Sheriff's office at 1822 South 1st Street. If you can't make it call the Yakima Police Department 575-6197 and they'll send and officer to your home to pick up your unwanted prescriptions.
