What's New This Year?
Downtown Farmers Market's Instagram page revealed something new is being installed at the Rotary Marketplace where the farmers market is held. These will be permanent, fully plumbed restrooms. That will definitely come in handy, not just for the farmers market but also for any other community events that are held there throughout the year.

What Makes the Downtown Yakima Farmers Market So Special
Going to the Downtown Yakima Farmers Market almost feels like a Hallmark movie, where everyone in town knows everyone.
Sometimes at the farmers market, I see my best friends there; we're always like, "Hey, I didn't know you would be here, bestie! It's so great to run into you!"
I also find new products to fall in love with, from freshly baked breads from Essencia Bakery and winery tasting pop-ups, to hand-carved wood decor, farm-to-table microgreens, farm eggs, and new cheeses from vendors like Tieton Farm and Creamery.
