If you want to catch one of Yakima's summer concerts, you're nearly out of time.

The city is wrapping up their summer concert series this week.

City officials say the outdoor concert series were very successful.

Downtown Summer Nights drew crowds ranging from 200 to 1,000 people, and the Lunchtime Live series averaged crowds between 100 and 200 people.

Yakima Economic Development Manager Sean Hawkins says that's a great start.

"So far, so good. We've learned a lot and for the Thursday night concerts, we had one, I would call it a rain out, but we still had 200 people come," Hawkins added.

Downtown Summer Nights will wrap up August 29th with Seattle band Eclectic Approach coming to play starting at five.

The final Lunchtime Live will start the next day at around noon with The Vaughn Jensen Band.

The city hopes to do both series again next summer.
