Line up for goodness sake...literally!

The kindness of strangers, the Good Samaritans, the Golden Rule put into action, call it what you will but it's taking place, again, this Wednesday.

Our friend Toni from Rexford Manor and some friends of hers have working hard to put together a curbside giveaway of goodies for Yakima Senior Citizens.

They've done it before to great success so they expect a full turnout  tomorrow, 8/26/20 starting at 8:00 am (while supplies last)

The location for the drive-up giveaway is the new YMCA Parking Lot at 3800 River Road, Yakima.

The curbside and contact free handout includes: A box of Fresh Produce, (800 in total) a reusable grocery bag full of brain teasers, masks, gloves, toilet paper, goodies and more!

The purpose of the event is simple and pure: To give comfort and a smile to Senior Citizens.

Working with Rexford Manor to bring the smiles are the Yakima Sr. Network Group, Farm to Family Fresh Produce & Local Communities.

Toni says they won't be checking for Senior IDs or grey hair but they do hope participants will remember the intent is to provide this smile service for Yakima area seniors.
