The Department of Transportation says plan ahead if you are traveling to the Westside of the State this weekend. A news release today reads;

Drivers planning a trip over Interstate 90 for Mother’s Day weekend should once again plan to add at least an hour to their trips between Easton (milepost 70) and the Cle Elum area (milepost 80). To avoid even longer delays, drivers should consider leaving early in the morning or later in the evening.

• On Friday, May 6 at 9 a.m. to Sunday, May 8 at 9 a.m., eastbound I-90 will be reduced to two lanes and one lane westbound.

• On Sunday, May 8 at 9 a.m. to Monday, May 9 at 6 a.m., westbound I-90 will be reduced to two lanes and one lane eastbound.
