Efforts continue in the Yakima Valley to get the COVID-19 vaccine to as many people as possible through the drive-thru site at Yakima's State Fair Park mobile units and clinics. If you are looking for a COVID-19 vaccine Yakima Valley Memorial is holding a free community vaccination clinic open to everyone on Saturday, April 10 in Tieton. The clinic will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or until the vaccine runs out, at the Mighty Tieton Warehouse located at 608 Wisconsin Road. Officials say 500 Moderna doses are available. If you are looking for a second dose of the vaccine those are available as well. You'll need proof of your first vaccine. No preregistration is needed and no identification is required. All the precautions will be in place including the requirement for masks.
Free COVID-19 testing will also be available at the site in Tieton on Saturday.
Health officials urge you to stay home if you have a fever of 100.4 or have muscle aches, new fatigue, throat pain, congestion, runny nose, shortness of breath or a cough.
Vaccinations are also available at Yakima's State Fair Park. Click on the link to make an appointment for a vaccine at State Fair Park. https://prepmod.doh.wa.gov/

Mobile sites are also in operation throughout the Yakima Valley part of the Drive-Thru site at Yakima's State Fair Park. So far that site has vaccinated more than 6,000 people. The site is expected to be open for the next 7 weeks. You'll need to be qualified and you'll need an appointment at the State Fair Park Site where COVID-19 testing is also available.
