County EMS Levy On November Ballot

Yakima county voters will have a chance to vote on the renewal of a county wide emergency services levy in November. On Tuesday the County Commissioners approved the issue for the ballot. A supermajority 60 percent vote is needed for passage. The current levy expires in 2013. The levy funds training and equipment for county Emergency Medical Services.
