Conditions Are Ripe for This Year’s Yakima Uncorked
Sunshine, wine, music and BACON! Where do we sign up?
The third annual Yakima Uncorked wine and food festival, presented by Washington Broadband, returns to downtown Yakima this Saturday (June 24) -- and conditions look ideal. Under Yakima's signature sunny skies, you’ll be able to enjoy wines grown right here in our valley, plus exquisite food ... like, say, bacon.
Yakima Uncorked invites you to celebrate and sample the rich culture of our community. Enjoy wine, beer, food, art, bacon (did we mention that already -- and did we say there's a cookoff this year!) and live music right in the heart of wine country.
The featured band is Zeppelin Live, a Led Zeppelin tribute band, on the Legends Casino Hotel stage. Local arts and craft vendors will also join the festival to give you a unique shopping experience.
Yakima Uncorked kicks off at 5 p.m. Saturday in Millennium Plaza, 22 S. Third St. Tickets will still be available at the door (21 and older only, please) for $20.
The event is sponsored by the Seasons Performance Hall, Better All Auto Sales, Wine Divas, Home Street Bank, Coca-Cola, KNDO and Yakima Valley Vinters.
