MAKAH BAY, Wash. (AP) — A crew from the U.S. Coast Guard rescued three men after their boat capsized in Makah Bay.

Coast Guard officials said in a news release that a boater made a mayday call Monday morning, saying they had an emergency and were near Strawberry Rock.

Rescue crews arrived to find three men wearing life jackets in the water near the capsized 21-foot pleasure craft.

Rescuers recovered the men from the water and transported them to emergency medical services personnel waiting on shore.

One man was treated for symptoms of hypothermia.
