The city of Yakima has revoked the business licenses of six Asian massage parlors which were raided as part of a police sting earlier this month.

On Monday, five people were charged with gross misdemeanors for practicing medicine without a license, while two of the suspects were also charged with prostitution. They were arrested during the raids on September 6 at various Yakima locations.

A warrant has been issued for a sixth suspect who did not show up in court on Monday.

City officials say they had to wait until the suspects were officially charged in court before they could revoke business licenses.
