City Neighborhood Forums Planned To Talk About Crime Prevention

In an ongoing effort to stop gang and drug crime in Yakima city officials plan to hold seven neighborhood forums before the end of the year. The forums will focus on how to report crime, neighborhood patrols and basic crime prevention. City residents are encouraged to contact city council members to hold forums in specific council districts. No dates have yet been set for the future forums. Contact city hall at 575-6050.
