Friday morning October 18 , 6:00 AM - It's SHOW TIME!

The Children's Miracle Network is back on the radio on AM 1280 Newstalk KIT.  And this year our sister station 92-point-9 The BULL is joining in!  Twice the radio power to reach out and tell the stories of local families and the miracles your donations over the years have made in their lives.

Your contributions stay here in the valley to support Children's Village, the Pediatrics Unit and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is where so many miracles begin and why not, it's a place populated by Angels - those amazing nurses that love, cuddle, coax, prod, nurture and will the tiniest of babies to hang on, grow, develop and catch up to their full-term peers.

The Pediatric Unit at Virginia Mason Memorial is a highly specialized, self-contained department dedicated to the medical care and treatment of infants and children with goals that include: Decreasing fear, Helping the parent(s) and child cope, Involving parent and child in developing and participating in an individual plan of care.

And the Children's Village, the one-of-a-kind kid oriented facility that provides over 30 different services to children with special health care needs and their families, serving thousands of area kids each year.

The radiothon is on the air from 6 am to 1 pm Friday with a goal of raising as much money as we can to help insure critical services for patients, ease the burden on patient families and support the doctors, nurses and staff who help make the miracles happen.

But you are a miracle maker too when make that call to 573-3920 and make a pledge.  One dollar or one thousand dollars or anything in between, it all helps, it all adds up. So thanks in advance for your help and for listening to the Children's Miracle Network Radiothon on KIT and the BULL!
