Chamber Offers A Guide To Getting Back To Business
The Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce is all about helping businesses be successful and coming back form the Coronavirus shutdown, businesses could use a little extra help.
The state has required that social distancing measures stay in place and safety measures are being followed to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. So how will business implement those measures to keep employees and customers safe?
There are issues that have cropped up in other states as they have started to reopen such as -what if your employees don't want to come back to work, how to notify your customers that you are open and how to make a contingency plan in the event of an outbreak in your business?
The Chamber intends to answer all these questions and more with the assistance of:
• Shawn Magee, Yakima County Health District
• Craig Hall, BBSI
• Roshelle Pavlin, BBSI
• Alberto Isiordia, Employment Security Department
• Jennifer Martinkus, Yakima Valley Tourism
• Renee Sunde, Washington Retail Association
We will also be listing resources in multiple areas around these topics:
• Free marketing tools (social media platforms, local listings, etc.)
• Social distancing guidelines
• Websites to visit for more resources
This webinar is being hosted by Yakima County Development Association in partnership with Yakima Herald-Republic, Yakima Valley Tourism, Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce, and Yakima SHRM.
