During the recent California Farm Bureau Capital Ag Conference, Resources Director Karla Nemeth highlighted work underway and outlined long-term plans to help the state adapt more broadly.

The NTE Report highlights barriers affecting U.S. agricultural trade, including China’s requirements across a range of food and ag products, such as sanitary and phytosanitary measures that aren’t based on science and applied beyond a reasonable period.

Others include Mexico’s take on agricultural biotechnology products, and the EU’s non-science-based policies on innovative crop protection.
