The roadway is open but driver can expect minor delays.

Bridge repairs temporarily closed a portion of US 12 from White Pass east to the Oak Creek Elk Feeding Station at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29. Shortly after midnight, Washington State Department of Transportation crews reopened the highway, allowing drivers access to all local businesses along the corridor.

Crews will repair two holes in the bridge deck at the east end of Rimrock Lake during daylight hours Wednesday, Jan. 30, through Saturday, Feb. 2. Traffic is reduced to one lane during daylight hours over the bridge, and a 25 mph speed reduction is in place until the work is complete sometime this weekend. All lanes are open at night.

Crews discovered the damage to the 76-year-old bridge during routine patrol along the highway.
