Some musicians or bands have the good fortune to have a large number of hit records in their careers. More than likely, an act will hit it big only once.

Look at the Beatles. In a relatively short career, they had a phenomenal amount of hit records, most of which are still popular today. But what about those acts that are "one hit wonders"? One memorable song hit the top of the charts, and then they disappear from view.

I have a bunch of one hit wonders in my MP3 player right now, mostly from the 80's.
