Both men who escaped the Yakima County Jail on Pacific Avenue on April 4 are now back behind bars. The Yakima County Sheriff's Office Wednesday announced police had arrested 31-year-old Steven Roche in the Tacoma/Olympia area.
The other inmate, 31-year-old Chad Tipton was arrested in the Olympia area on April 7. Both inmates escaped from the jail April 4 by walking through a door that had a faulty lock. Both were facing charges from Kootenai County, Idaho.
Roche is accused of forgery and burglary. Tipton faces charges of assault. But both men now face a new charge of escape in Yakima County Superior Court.
