Body Of Former Yakima Police Officer Escorted To Funeral Home

The body of retired Yakima Police Sergeant Mark Peck was escorted from the Yakima County Coroners Office Tuesday to Shaw and Sons Funeral Home by members of the Yakima Police Honor Guard.

Peck died in an accidental house fire on Sunday night at his home on Pamona Road. Peck retired from the YPD in May of 2002 after serving 27 years on the department.
