Block Watch Helping Terrace Heights Residents

In just over a years time, graffiti in Terrace Heights has dropped about 70% thanks to a big block watch program. There's still a problem spot on Butterfield road. The old walker boat building is constantly tagged. We learned the "paint over" technique is not working there. Neighbors are relieved to know the block watch team is working with the Sheriff's office to tackle the problem. The Yakima County Sheriff's Office expects to see a continued drop in graffiti, and hopes the block watch will spread to areas nearby.
