Back To School Memories.

Wow...First Grade and Miss Brown...I thought she was amazing!  We even got an ice cream bar on the first day...or at least after 53 years that's what I remember.  If I close my eyes I can smell the varnish on the desks in my small hometown school..all 12 grades in the same building!!   

I may not recall all the lessons but I'll never forget the mixture of fear, curiosity and excitement of that very first day of school.
