Back The Blue Rally Set For Saturday in Selah

A big rally to support police is set for Saturday, August 29 in Selah. The Back the Blue rally is being organized by family members of local police officers in response to nationwide protests against police.
The Back the Blue rally starts at 4:00 p.m. in the parking lot between Anytime Fitness and the Red Rooster Bar and Grill in Selah.
If you attend you are urged to bring American flags and signs that support local police officers.
No organized opposition has announced a counter rally but that could be a possibility. Back the Blue rally organizers say they're not concerned and look forward to a large crowd to show support for local police officers.
