Baby Names -The Next Trend Comes Down Like Rain

The website Baby Center says that Sophia celebrates her ninth consecutive year as the top name choice for girls, while Jackson remains the most popular name for boys for six years running.

One version of the top ten names for 2018 are listed below .  Full disclosure - I have a 4 year old grandson named Jackson and granddaughters  Aubrey at #21 and Ella at #22.  No word yet if more babies are on the way but we do know the trend in baby names.

They are called "Raindrop" baby names  which are succinct, multi-syllable, and simultaneously employ consonant sounds that roll off the tongue.
