Little Builders Unite: Drive Big Machines at Dozer Day!
Dozer Day, where kids drive is coming up this weekend in Yakima. The event where kids who love big machinery can get behind the wheel is planned for Saturday and Sunday at State Fair Park.
YOUR KIDS GET A CHANCE TO DO SOMETHING THEY'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO
Dozer Day is sponsored by Central Washington Homebuilders Association. They say your kids will have a chance to drive all kinds of heavy machinery including bulldozers and other big equipment. The kids also get the chance to check out a number of emergency vehicles like ambulances and fire trucks. They'll also learn about careers in construction and the importance of teamwork.
ALL THE FUN IS SET FOR THE WEEKEND
The event is set for Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Yakima's State Fair Park, 1301 South Fair Avenue. Lots of fun is planned including a scavenger hunt and a special quiet hour from 10:00 am to 11:00 am for kids with special needs. Tickets are $13 for those 3-years-old and older. Tickets are available at www.statefairpark.org.
