Authorities Searching For Man From California Lost In Yakima River

The search continues along the Yakima river near Granger Today after a 27-year-old man from California disappeared while swimming near the Granger Boat Launch at about 1:50 p.m. Monday. Yakima County Sheriff's officials say the man's friends were unable to reach him after he started struggling in the water near the boat launch Monday afternoon. They then called 9-1-1. Authorities from Granger, the Washington State Patrol and authorities from Yakima County Fire District Five searched for the man, who hasn't been identified but were unable to find him on Monday.
