Authorities Identify Triple Homicide Suspect
The Yakima County Sheriff's Office has identified a homicide suspect arrested in connection with a triple homicide reported in Parker Monday. He's 36 year old Clifton Frank Peter and authorities say one of the people who was threatened but able to get away was his mother...County Sheriff's officials say Peter is from the Parker area and is an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation. He's being held in the Yakama Nation Jail.
The three victims have been identified as 31-year-old Omar Venegas-Mora, his wife, 32-year-old Imelda Santillan-Guevara and 63-year-old Javier Luna-Gonzalez from Parker. All three were from Parker and all three died of gunshot wounds.
A news release from the Yakima County Sheriff's Office says the suspects mother, 63-year-old Rita Marie Peter from Parker, had been physically assaulted and threatened with an ax. She able to run away and hide in a safe place.
Deputies say there is no further threat to the Parker community.
