Ahtanum General Store Robbed At Gunpoint Tuesday Night

Suspects robbed the Ahtanum General Store on Tuesday night. Yakima County Sheriff's officials say two men wearing masks carrying handguns entered the store at about 9:50 p.m. and ordered the clerk and a customer to lay on the ground while they demanded money. One suspect grabbed money from the till while he kicked the clerk in the head. The other suspect kicked the customer in the foot before the two ran from the store to a waiting vehicle. Deputies say the circumstances of the robbery are near identical to robberies reported in Yakima and Union Gap over the last two months. An investigation continues Today.
