**U.S. rice is headed for South Korea thanks to a new trade agreement.

U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue made the announcement, saying Korea will provide access for over 132,000 tons of U.S. rice annually, with an annual value of about $110 million.

Korea also agreed to important disciplines to ensure transparency and predictability around the tendering and auctioning for U.S. rice.
