An 18-year-old from Toppenish has been arrested after an early morning shooting Tuesday that left 6 people with injuries. Yakima County Sheriff's deputies say they were called to the 8000 block of Lateral C Road in Toppenish at about 3:15 a.m. after getting a call about shots fired at a party in the area. Deputies were able to find the suspect vehicle and arrest the 18-year-old who's now being held in the Yakima County jail on felony assault and drive-by shooting charges. They say before they arrived two females at the party were fighting when the 18-year-old suspect grabbed a shotgun and fired several rounds into a crowd injuring the 6 victims. None of the injuries are believed to be life threatening. 3 of the victims are from the lower Yakima Valley and 3 others are from Pasco. All six remain in area hospitals Today.
