3 Suspects in Large Drug Bust in Berthold Set for Trial
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Three Washington state men arrested in a large drug bust in northern North Dakota have been scheduled for trial in federal court in Bismarck.
The Minot Daily News reports that 20-year-old Luis Magana, 24-year-old Gregorio Capetillo and 27-year-old David Salazar are to stand trial Sept. 12 on federal drug charges. Salazar also faces a weapons count.
The three were arrested in January during a traffic stop in Berthold. Authorities say a search of the vehicle uncovered more than 11 pounds of methamphetamine, along with cocaine, heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, cash and firearms.
