10 Possible Coronavirus Cases Under Investigation in Yakima

So far no new coronavirus cases as a result of an exposure at the Yakima Square Dance Center in Moxee which remains closed Today. However Officials at the Yakima Health District say 10 people remain in isolation in the county with a majority of those in isolation having been possibly exposed at the center. The 10 cases are waiting for testing results expected Thursday or Friday.
Health officials say if you attended an event at the Yakima Square Dance Center between February 22 and March 7 you are simply urged to watch your health. The reason to watch your health is because officials say a Kittitas County resident with a presumptive positive case of coronavirus attended an event at the center and was close to others.
Yakima Health District spokesperson Lilian Bravo says more testing is now being done by private labs in Yakima County so she says it's likely things could change fast in Yakima within the next couple of weeks.
