YVCC Winter Music Concerts Coming in March

The Yakima Valley Community College Music department presents two concerts this winter. Both events are free an open to the public.

Jazz Combo's night will take place on March 7, at 7 p.m. in the Hub Quiet Lounge.

This concert features the YVCC Guitar Ensemble directed by Jim Durkee and the YVCC Improvisation Combo directed by Jeff Chang. The evening also features a special guest appearance by the YVCC Jazz Allstars.

Winter Jazz Big Band night will be held March 13, at 6:30 p.m. in Kendall Hall Auditorium.

This concert features the YVCC Salsa Band directed by David Blink, the Davis High School Jazz Band directed by Jon Conrad, the Franklin Middle School Jazz Band directed by Jeff Chapman and the Washington Middle School Jazz Band directed by Ron Nelson.
