The incident is so serious that local authorities alerted federal investigators.
SCAMMERS CREATED A FAKE WEBSITE
According to the Yakima Police Department scammers created a fake website designed to lure unsuspecting consumers with offers of heavily discounted farm products and machinery. The scam has raised alarm among local business owners and consumers, prompting authorities to take action. The FBI has been notified and has launched an investigation into the matter. In response to the mounting complaints, the fraudulent website has since been taken down. Carrier Transports, which has built a reputable name in the community for decades, is working to make sure customers are aware of the situation.
