Yakima’s Fisher Park Golf Course Opens Friday
If you love to golf at Yakima's Fisher Park Golf Course you can get back in action on Friday, March 26. The weather on Friday calls for sunshine and a high of 61 degrees, perfect golf weather.
The past year has been a challenge for many golf courses in the Yakima Valley including Westwood West and Apple Tree Golf Courses two facilities that are also widely popular with Yakima golfers. Fisher Park Golf Course is a par-3, 9-hole course is located at 823 South 40th Avenue, across from Eisenhower High School. It's open March through October 8:00 a.m. to Dusk. A news release from the city of Yakima says "daily specials include Senior Citizen Day on Mondays, Ladies’ Day on Tuesdays, Men’s Day on Thursdays and Family Day after 3:00 pm on Sundays." Fisher Park Golf’s opening was delayed last year until May due to COVID-19. However, the course was able to extend last season two additional weeks into November. Masks and social distancing is still in place on the course. Starting on Friday city officials say there's no need to call for tee times because it's first come – first serve."

By joining, you could earn a free round of 9-holes of golf after you receive 10 punches on your card. Earn up to two punches each time you play-one for a round of golf at regular rates and another one if you play 18 holes. After as little as five visits to the course, you could be enjoying a round of golf on the city of Yakima"
