The weekend's NFL playoff ratings are in and all four games were down double digits over last year.  Clearly the NFL has lost a significant portion of its fan support.

Much of that is blamed on some of the players protesting police brutality, injustice and unequal treatment of African-Americans by law enforcement by kneeling for the presentation of the American flag and National Anthem -- as started by former San Francisco 49er quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Just five days before the Martin Luther King day of remembrance, two of Yakima's leaders in the African American Community sat down with KIT to discuss the protests and race relations in the valley.

Tomorrow at 8:15 on Newstalk 1280 KIT we'll talk with the Reverend Robert Trimble and Steve Michell, the C-E-O of Yakima's O.I.C. organization.

We hope you'll join us.
