(Updated 12:30 p.m. Monday) Yakima Police Searching For Killer Of 59-Year-Old Man

Yakima Police have released the name of a man found dead at a home in west valley on Monday as 59-year-old Stan Brader.

Yakima's 10th homicide was reported early Sunday morning at a home in the west valley area. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says officers were called after a burned vehicle was found near Wapato in which the registered owner had a Yakima address. Police went to the home to check on the owner and found a crime scene at the home in the 1600 block of South 72^nd Avenue Officers searched the home of the 59-year-old man and found him dead near a fence outside the home. Bastinelli says at this point in the investigation it does not appear that this was a random attack. The victim’s name is being withheld at this time . Yakima Police detectives are investigating the homicide. It's the 10th homicide reported so far this year in the city of Yakima.
