Yakima Police Department Open House Set For Tuesday Afternoon

Yakima Police are inviting you to an open house on Tuesday at the Yakima city Law and Justice Center on South 3rd Street. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says it's a chance for you to see where police work and an opportunity to shake an officers hand. "We'll be doing tours every thirty minutes. Maybe people drive by the facility so this is a chance for people to tour the department."
Bastinelli says along with tours you can also enjoy swat and motorcycle demonstrations and say hello to the police K-9's. The Yakima Police Department open house will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
